Safety

YOUR SAFETY IS OUR TOP PRIORITY AT LIQUICITY FESTIVAL.

At Liquicity, your safety is our priority. We are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for everyone. In this policy, you’ll find out how we treat each other, and what to do if something ever feels wrong. It applies to everyone at the festival: visitors, crew, artists, security and vendors. Liquicity is a place for everyone. Respect each other’s space and consent, and follow crew and security instructions. Discrimination, sexual harassment, bullying, aggression and violence of any kind are not tolerated, from anyone.

LOOK AFTER EACH OTHERKeep an eye out for your fellow visitors, your friends and all people around you. If you notice someone who seems uncomfortable or in distress, ask if they are okay or need help.

WHAT TO DO IF YOU EXPERIENCE OR WITNESS UNWANTED BEHAVIOURPlease speak to any crew member: “I need help”. Whether it happened to you, or you witnessed it, always get help. Talk to security, first aid, or any other crew member on site. If you can’t find anyone, text +31683004839.You don’t have to explain everything or be 100% certain, and you’re never overreacting by raising it. They’ll connect you to our safety team, who handle the situation with care and discretion. Crew and security work independently, so if you’d rather not approach one, go to the other.Rather not speak to anyone affiliated with Liquicity? Email our independent safety officer at [email protected]. This inbox is only answered after the festival, so for anything urgent during the event, find a crew or security member on site.

AFTER YOU REPORTYour report is logged, anonymously if you prefer. This helps us take appropriate action and monitor for recurring issues.Depending on the situation, we may keep watch, issue a warning, remove someone, or involve the police. This is always discussed with you first. We keep monitoring to ensure the behaviour stops.Anyone who reports in good faith is supported. Retaliation of any kind is not tolerated. If it feels wrong, it’s worth raising!
