Known for his liquid and deeply soulful take on drum & bass, Hiraeth creates music that resonates on an emotional level. As a key artist on Liquicity and its sister label Galacy, he has carved out a sound that feels both intimate and expansive. His debut album Bittersweet, released in December 2022 as the very first album on Galacy, takes listeners on a journey from dreamy liquid grooves to more experimental territory. Inspired by the Welsh word “hiraeth” (a longing for something lost or never quite found) his music is infused with nostalgia and longing. With every track, his goal is clear: to evoke emotion and touch something soft inside the listener, leaving a lasting impression.
