Liquicity Festival takes place at the recreational park “Geestmerambacht”, located just 40km north of Amsterdam. A classic piece of Dutch landscape featuring open grass fields, winding creeks, dikes and peaceful woodland. There are several ways to travel to Liquicity Festival: wether it is by shuttle bus, car, drop-off, bike or new this year, express bus. TRAIN + SHUTTLEBUS

You can easily arrive by train using a public transport ticket. The nearest main railway station is Alkmaar, located about 10 km from the festival site. A shuttle bus runs between the north side of Alkmaar Station and the festival grounds, operating continuously throughout each festival day. Exact shuttle bus operating hours will be announced closer to the event. To use the shuttle service, you’ll need to purchase a shuttle bus return ticket (€10.99), which covers a round trip between Alkmaar station and the festival site.

From Amsterdam Central Station to Alkmaar Station

Take the train from Amsterdam Central Station to Alkmaar Station. (35 minutes)

From Schiphol Airport to Alkmaar Station

Take the train from Schiphol Airport to Zaandam Station. Then, take the train from Zaandam Station to Alkmaar Station. (45 minutes in total)

Take the bus from Eindhoven Airport to Eindhoven Station. Then, take the train from Eindhoven Station to Alkmaar Station. (120 minutes in total)

Car parking

Purchase a parking ticket (€27.99) to park your car at the festival from Friday to Monday! Your parking ticket allows you to leave and re-enter the parking area throughout the weekend.
Please note: Vehicles over 8 meters require two parking tickets. Sleeping in vehicles is not permitted, and cars cannot enter the campsite without a separate campervan ticket.

Arriving a day early? You can buy a Thursday campsite access ticket, which lets you enter the campsite and park your car on Thursday. Just make sure you also have a valid parking ticket.

Parking is in a designated lot 15–20 minutes on foot from the festival entrance. Please follow the signs directing you to the parking fields. Spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Drop-off

If arriving by taxi or someone is dropping you off, head to the Kiss & Ride zone located next to the entrance.

Carpool

Looking for someone to carpool with to the festival? You’ll once again be able to sign up for ride-sharing through the website. The option will appear in a pop-up window at the bottom left of the screen closer to the event date.

Book an express bus and travel straight from your city to the Galaxy of Dreams!
Buses will depart from Amsterdam, Eindhoven, Utrecht, Rotterdam, The Hague, and Leiden. Specific departure points will be announced closer to the event, but we expect to use the usual central locations in each city.

Bike

Do you live nearby and want to come by bike? No problem, there are free bike parking spots available.

Motorcycle

Parking tickets are required for all motor vehicles, including motorcycles. Therefore, a regular parking ticket must be purchased and the same rules apply.
