As Liquicity Festival 2022 is getting closer, we want to keep all of you in the loop on what is happening around it. These weekly blog updates right here are supposed to not only inform you about the planning process, any news regarding government regulations or general updates about tickets, accommodation, travel, etc. but also get you in the mood for this summer’s first festival back! Expect artist interviews, sets of the week, fun contests and so much more.
Those of you who guessed the new announcement would be NETSKY were right! It’s super exciting to welcome him back to the festival. His timeless music was there at the start of Liquicity and has been in all our hearts ever since. Netsky’s music is what made Liquicity so special right from the start. So having him return after seven year is a dream come true.
We told you, there would be changes and they would be big, so here we are! No doubt, his 2022 set will be even bigger and better 😍
Honestly, we are as excited as you are. So to get into the mood for the most spectacular Liquicity Festival yet, listen back to some of the first Netsky tunes featured on the YouTube channel.
Most of the 2020 line up will be moved to 2022 and on top of that there will be additional updates to the program. Even though a couple of artists won’t make it back in 2022, we have some AMAZING extra announcements to make in the coming weeks. Time to Rise and Shine😎
All stages will be upgraded both size and show wise, but especially the Solar (better rain protection, who remembers mudcity 2019?) and Nebula stage will be taken to the next level. The campsite will be expanded with an extra camping field for more space. There are some crazy plans for new Liquicity LED signing all over the grounds and of course: lots of brand new merchandise products.
First of all we want to thank everyone who held on to their 2020 or 2021 ticket. Over 85% of you did (amazing!), which means we are already close to a sold out 2022 edition ⚠️
Production costs are currently going through the roof due to 2.5 years of Covid. Former crew members and production companies switched jobs or went bankrupt, the demand is way higher than the supply. On top there is a huge inflation on everything as you know. Despite all this we decided to leave all your tickets valid for 2022. You stuck with us during these Covid years, now we will do the same. However, the final remaining tickets on sale now will increase in price soon, there is simply no way of avoiding this.
In case the Dutch government would forbid another year of festivals we guarantee everyone a full refund including service and payment fees. If you are not allowed to travel or enter due to a positive Covid test or travel ban, you will get a full refund as well. We got you covered!
