Back with another Covid update regarding Liquicity Festival:
All festivals in The Netherlands up to 25.000 people are officially allowed from June 30th onwards, but the Dutch government currently demands a test via testenvoortoegang.org every 24 hours. We are in close contact with the federal government, local government, health services and the mayor to make this work logistically. We expect Liquicity Festival to take place as planned on 16-18 July, although we still recommend to wait with booking travel until the next (and final) update around July 1st latest (this originally was June 22nd).
We are working around the clock to make Liquicity Festival happen this summer. As a festival organizer these are the most extreme circumstances to work with. Uncertainty, constantly changing rules, travel bans and only a few weeks time to set everything up… We need to stay flexible and we ask you to do the same: we need your support more than ever to pull this off!
The UK is currently on red list in The Netherlands and The Netherlands is on the amber list in the UK. This means if nothing changes before early July, many of the artists on the line up will not be able to travel since they would need to self isolate for 5-10 days both ways. If this won’t change, we will do everything we can to find worthy replacements, create longer sets and plan special extra b2b sets. We hope for your understanding, flexibility and support with this.
For visitors from the UK and other countries that currently have a mandatory self isolation in place: we have set the deadline on July 1st. If on July 1st there still is a mandatory self isolation, you can request a full refund or move your ticket to 2022. Let’s hope things will change in the coming weeks.
If you or your friends don’t have a ticket yet, you can get one via the waiting list. We expect more tickets to become available in the coming weeks. It’s the cheapest and safest way to get a ticket, many scammers are active so beware! Festival.liquicity.com/waitlist
Stay patient and stay strong for a little while longer!
